I've got a C180 1994. I just noticed that the exterior window trim (black metal) around the outside of the rear window seems to have popped out on the left hand side as you face the back of the car. I looked below it and it seems that there are just clips that hold it in and perhaps the clips are loosing a bit of their strength. Anyway I push the trim back with my hand as hard as I dare but it doesn't feel too solid.
I was wondering whether anyone had run into this before, perhaps in the replacement of a rear window and how you fixed it? If worst comes to worst I'll have to order a new trim from Merc and see if that will work.
Any ideas?
