F1 2019

Indirect flights to/from China, but still too long on an aeroplane for me these days, don't know how I'd react to that many hours in a cabin pressurised to 8k feet instead of sea level!:(:(

I know this is a F1 2019 thread but am I allowed to stretch it to 2020?

Just booked tickets to Spanish GP 2020:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Info here if anyone is interested. Of course included flight times are unreasonable so an upgrade has to be paid:doh:

Drop me a pm about Spanish Grand Prix, I work for a team and would love to catch up with forum members out there.

Tried to pm but got this message:-
"You may not start a conversation with TigerRonin because of his or her privacy settings."

Then I suppose I better get posting more but if anybody makes any of the European races or testing next year, let me know. Would be great to meet up

Hi,
Are you going to be at the Abu Dhabi GP this year?
If so - give me a shout!
Cheers
Steve

He has been on plant based diet for a while now but yeah, they claim F1 is going greener but there are around 500 trucks that support and move the teams around Europe

Come on my friend. Spill the beans!

You canny tease us on this thread about your job without giving details. :)

I'm not sure anyone can say they are saving the planet going vegan and stepping into one of his selections of supercar(s), jet(s), F1 race(s) and globetrotting around the world - perhaps if he took the bus/train/ferry to the F1 races.......

Yep. Anyone with LH's lifestyle and wealth need to take a very long look in the mirror before making idealistic statements about 'saving the planet'.

Whats this about Renault's illegal brake balancing system that Racing Point have sent to the FIA for investigation?

given they cannot sort out track investigations these days, god help them for this one.

Not sure how the "let them race"= Stockcar Racing! approach  will resonate with the teams on limited budgets. Undoubtedly popular with fans some of these collisions must be horrendously expensive for the minor teams-- which brings us on to the question of budget ceilings currently being vigorously opposed by the top teams . Not so much may the best man win as may the biggest chequebook win??????????????

It's long winded - Renault have been accused of using a system that set a pre-determined brake balance at certain parts of the track (I think). Racing Point produced a 12 page dossier to the FIA and so renault are now going to defend it with pages and pages in their defence. Will be a long one! Both the Renault cars' had their steering wheels confiscated at the end of the last grand prix
