F1 2019

Bottas will be starting at the back on Sunday, following an engine/turbo replacement.

LeClerc is being investigated for a 'significant' difference in fuel (actual vs real) and may well be disqualified from the race

This is why I'm not liking the FIA with their decisions.

On the other hand. What a great season and what a great win for LH. A truly great Champ. 104 days till the next race :D Driver of the day has to be VB. A truly good year for Max despite the Ferrari's been a better car but not knowing their **** from their elbow on stats.

Roll on 2020

Same here, different Stewards at different races will also mean different decisions for me.

Crazy with the resources they have they cant sort this sooner.

The DRS not working another bad example.

I found that racing boring, went for a shower with 15 laps to give and didn't watch end, just seen result.

I can see where you're coming from and agree, although I showered earlier this morning, but how do they now resolve this? If CLC was to lose 3rd and been on the podium it doesn't show the next 3rd place as been truly 3rd. The FIA need to sort there 5hit out.

I take it that the weight infringement was that the fuel was lower than declared.

What would the performance advantage have been during the race ?

Shoumd he simply have been DQ’d ?

I suspect that Ferrari may have already been handed a fueling "get out of jail free" card when there was some sort of fuel metering discrepancy which they had to alter before a previous GP - forget which one now -suffice to say following the "modification" they appear to lose much of their engine power superiority in the race that followed. I wonder if that caused the stewards to focus on the detail of Ferrari's fuelling??

Physical chequered flag also to return next year after technical problems at the Japanese GP caused race to end one lap early.

End of season test: Mercedes were on top of the time sheets for both days (Bottas and Russell).

^^Indeed, very interesting. Must be gutting for someone like Nico Hulkenberg that can drive rings around Lance Stroll but can't get a drive because his pockets aren't so deep.
