facelift 212

We got the first facelift car into work this week .

I think the new shaped lights make the car less distinctive that the older four light configuration . Its more like a mini S class now .
The updated interior is very nice indeed , with the added crome trims on the dash and white stitching on the seats . I also liked the stitched border along the insert of the door panels .

Wow. Looks sharp and modern with the grill. I'm dreading the day it is shown with the star in the grill. Thought the grill version u show is not making British shores? ? ? Defo has a blooby face, much prefer my 212 pre face

Its an Irish spec SE , it has the standard grill , our Avantgarde has the large star in the grill . We could get an Elegance spec before the facelift though im not sure if we still can .

what's with the extensive orange plastic?

I prefer the old one, new lights aren't as nice in my opinion

The cars an extended chassis based on an estate 212 , the orange plastic is to protect the car as their is a big hole where the roof has been cut and the quarter panels are cut .

i will say, pic one looks good.. sharp end, however, the standard lights let down the new facelift, the grill is an improvement, but the light size is way too big, almost peugeot like, which is horrid.. the lights need to be a refined compact cluster with purpose, not the blobs mercedes are putting on their cars these days...
