Just got my hands on some of the above and have to say how brilliant it is. Some "have not" keyed my pristine C280 down the passenger side but didn't press hard enough to go thru the lacquer thank god. Well i polished away with my new liquid and couldn't believe how fast and well it works. Apparently the Particle grains diminish in in size so your not left with having to go to a finer compound. I can recommend this product to any one. Happy polishing.:D

got it from ebay. Its the pro stuff yes. all done by hand but thinking of getting a machine polisher. Am using this 3g stuff in my work too on solid surfaces such as corian which is a lot tougher than 2K Lacquer.

Its the dog's******** :thumb: The paste in the yellow tube. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B003V3PZI0/?tag=amazon0e9db-21

Thats the one I use too but there's some G3 in halfords black bottle green writing and I think it's a watered down version of the pro stuff, didn't touch the key marks on my Volvo swapped to the pro stuff as in the link took it out perfect.:thumb:

I have used it on the bike tank where jacket zips rub on the paintwork . Polished out by hand to a great finish

I use the Pro stuff on heavy scratches / marks, applied by machine, it is very good but don't go too hard on it as it is quite abrasive. If the marks arnt too bad I use Meguires Ultimate compound, also very good stuff but not as aggressive as G3 but its easier to buff up & less dusty!

Yeh i used it on my bike tank too in exactly the same place then polished and wow what a difference. Seems on here there are quite a few older Bikers like myself. Should we start a forum ? May be not that popular though as not many people like bikes. Happy polishing and motoring.

Tony, do you use G3 to polish Corian?

Would this be good on more normal plastics too? I've got a 5mm long fine scratch on the climate display, it's not very deep or wide but catches the light all the time...or can anyone recommend something more suitable?

Anyone compared it with Megs Scratch-X, if so, what's the verdict?

Ta
