Ferrari Smart Car

Sub 8 Seconds... don't think so. Remapping a Smart city car will shave a few seconds off the standard 17.5sec 0-60 time, but not that much.

Here's some figures I measured a few years ago on my old remapped smart using a Race Technologies accelerometer:-

Code:
mph	s	g	ft	rwhp
10	1.43	0.34	9	18
20	2.72	0.38	37	40
30	4.93	0.14	125	25
40	6.77	0.22	219	50
50	10.23	0.16	441	53
60	14.59	0.12	792	56

The main problem was the painfully slow gearchanges. Despite what anyone says, remapping does not speed up the gearchange time, the box is just not designed to swap cogs fast.

If you put a lot of power into a Smart wouldn't it just wheelie (with RWD and that incredibly short wheelbase)?

With enough oomph I'm sure its possible. But the "smartuki" GSXR powered smart didn't seem to have that side effect. I guess its torque thats required rather than power for wheelie purposes

Depends how heavy the driver is too, I guess! :D

Altogether now:

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :D
