Guys, I'd love to make this but in all honesty, I've not stopped for weeks and this is a good 350 mile round trip for me. I think I've spend more time in the big smoke in the last couple of weeks that I have at home!

However....I also notice that the forecast for Saturday isn't currently looking good so there may be chance that this is pushed back to a Saturday with better conditions??

Who says? The Met Office? They haven't got a clue! They don't even know what it will be doing tomorrow let alone Saturday. Believe me, with my motorcycle clubs we observe the weather forecasts a lot and they're all pretty much useless at anything beyond 12 hours. I suggest waiting until Saturday to decide what the weather will be

By the way, admittedly very short term, but if you're planning a trip and are curious about the liklihood of rain the following site can be very useful...

Sorry I haven't been around over the last couple of days.

All is still on for saturday if the weather is good!

I think it is too early to tell what the weather will be like yet (Baldguy, the optimist! lol!)

But as Palmball says, if the weather is crap this saturday, we'll see if we can get together on the following saturday!

I am not planning on coming , but if the Mrs is gonna sit in front the the telly all night then I may get out to play. Especially as I have the entire week off to detail the car in advance (if it stops raining!).

I have been on this forum for some time now however havent been able to get to any meet yet so work permitting i'd like to come to this one.Will it be at the same car park as is in the last thread with the map? Oh and by the way i drive a 43

Full wash and wax today with an interior leather protection and hoovering yesterday, tomorrow is a second coat of wax and wheels off for full wheel and caliper multiple waxing session!

You'd be impressed Rash......however I may be out drinking beer on Saturday :-(

Yes, I too have seen the satellite imagery.

But I don't think it'll actually be raining on saturday evening.. just depends on how well things dry up before the evening.

We'll see what the images are suggesting on friday.
