Just wanted to share this with you;
Last August i got a fine for my bumper being 4 inches inside a Box junction, admitedly i was angry but i paid the fine and thought that was the end. My borther also got caught in the same box junction similar circumstances. but then in november there was a headlin in the local newspaper that caught my eye, the box junction me and my brother were caught in was judge as being of an illegal size and the council had known about this since July and yet carried on fining motorists. So obviously im a little more angry now and i phone up my local council and give them a piece of my mind (felt good) well they told me that the refunding of fines was an automated process and that i would be contacted soon. I asked if i would be getting interest on the £60 as if it was in my account i'd be getting 7% a month she had nothing to say. anyway long story short yesterday i recieved a letter saying i will be refunded by the end of this month WOO HOO!!!!

EDIT: box junctions were illegal as they were oversized, they have now been removed. There were 5 box junctions which have now been removed. West London
