Just bagged myself what I consider to be a great bargain.

'2000 C320 Avantgarde in Silver,

114K Miles, full dealer service history, perfect bodywork, interior clean and undamaged, great.

Has brand new Uniroyal RainSport 2 tyres all round, too. Not top of the line but still pretty good.

Can't fault it really. Even getting 30MPG around town (driving carefully of course).

Very impressed with the factory Blaupunkt navigation and sound quality, streets ahead of any other factory audio I've heard.

I've just left the BMW camp (last car was an E39 5-Series) and the only thing I could possibly fault the C320 for is slightly too soft suspension, but overall it offers a very comfortable and better ride, just can't throw it into the corners quite as much as you'd expect something with a 3.2 V6 to let you...

Happy camper now

Oh, and it cost a smidge over a grand :bannana:

Oooooh, isn't it fast.

Not that I'm immature but there's a road round here that has three sets of lights very close to 1/4 mile apart, flat straight for a whole mile or so, so always get raced from the lights.

I noticed today that I flattened the competition almost by accident. Wasn't trying at all, barely half throttle at peak, in fact for the last 1/4 mile (they were all green tonight) I just coasted and still beat off the competition.

I in no way condone or suggest imitation of such immature and irresponsible behaviour.

Hi and welcome.:thumb:

Great car - and funnily enough the faster you drive it the better it handles... I had a 2002 with the 17" AMGs and it truly combined limo-like motorway and long journey work with really great steering and handling around twisty A and B roads. No hot hatch but a great RWD experience. Good choice!
