Fixing W208 clk wing mirror glass

I apologize if this is asked in the wrong forum.... but here goes

The glass on my wing mirror broke and need to be replaced. I've obtained a replacement but still can't figure how to get the mirror to snap correctly onto the base.

Has anyone done this before or know where I can find out?

Its best to remove the cover first by tilting the glass to get to the torx screws inside,But could probably be done with out removing??.If you follow the pics (from pic 8)lower down, http://mbclub.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=8145 the fitment of the glass to the motor is the same as the w202
