So...

Got in the car this morning and it didn't start. Had to get a cab to take my son to football. When I got back, I called greenflag to come out and the thing started.

I took it for a drive and all seemed well. But I need a new battery. I went on ECP and a few popped up when I typed in my reg. I have a C180K W204. 09 Reg.

Is this adequate?

Bosch S5 Battery 027 5 Year Guarantee

The reason I ask, is because the AHs look a little on the low side. I just went on Halfords and put my car details in and it recommends an 096 range of batteries, rather than the 027.

If that is the correct type of battery, I would buy this one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B005XVUQ6Y/?tag=amazon0e9db-21

The only real difference I can see, is length. The 096 is 30mm longer. Which isn't a lot of length, but if it doesn't fit in the engine bay it's not much use to me.

Anyone who can answer my stupid questions? :)

Edit - I would say this answers my question - http://www.ebay.ie/itm/Mercedes-C-C...a-Silver-Heavy-Duty-Car-Battery-/350517234656

278mm length. Same as an 096.

My battery is in the boot.

Fitted by Mercedes on my drive for £130 with 4 year warranty.

I was happy as I couldn't even get it out the garage.
