Folding mirrors on W140

Another thing I've discovered is that my mirrors won't fold on the car. It would be nice to have when I visit my mum in town.

How do they work? Are they electrically operated or is it another air powered thing to add to the collection?

They are electrically operated.
When you say they don't work (fold), do you mean they are completely powerless i.e. can you electrically adjust the position of the mirror glass?

Yeah, the mirror glass moves in both mirrors, but when I put the switch to the fold position they don't move.

I'd pop the covers off and confirm you definately have folding mirrors - if they are then there could be something wrong with both motors (unlikely to be both) or a faultly switch?
