For Mazza

Tell you what I really want, an evo transfer box that doesn't have a chocolate crown wheel inside it. We took it apart today and found another missing tooth.

Turn's out that that the crown wheel is a richmond unit meant for a ford 9" axle, 600ftlb must be a tad too much for it. lol.

Morning

chocolate and teeth dont mix mate, stay away from sweet things:D

switch the anti lag off..hehe she's a box eater

poor lump is feeling poorly

gave it the mazza's touch, nice and clean now, ready for the next life

head is in great shape, head is good!

Oh the innuendos... :D

Nothing sings quite like the cis 24v, the later engines are too dull for my liking.

Keep your fingers crossed dude, she's back together... Almost makes me want a sequential 6 speed box in the turbodiesel.

A couple of months ago I rang the bloke who I sold it to asking if he would sell it back to me and he said he wouldnt sell it even if i offered him double what he paid for it !

I think you need another, but more power this time.

Dont wind me up !

Yes I do need another

Funnily enough I never thought it needed more power - the 24v was faster and more lairy but the 3.2 was just plain "lovely"

I may consider doing again when that "other" 3.2 engine comes available ;)

id rather have the kit and wheels from the 3.7 for the workhorse !

Is he still using the 3.2's replacement as a coffee table? :p

3.2 24v = motorway cruiser

3.0 24v = hooligans engine

3.7 24v = absolute weapon

It's a shame that the block has run out of room at 3.7, or I'd build one mighty 4.0l+ stroker motor.

Its buried under a w124 parts mountain !

Simon, I have got another project in mind , 2.4 v6 to 3.2 v6 or possibly 3.2k how hard can it be ?

3.2 v6 is an easy straight swap, 3.2k is a big money conversion. You would be better off to turbo the 3.2.

Something to bear in mind :)

Ive had my eyes on a particular really high spec 202 for about 6 months only thing that lets it down is the small engine. Although I love 190's there not really much point doing another if im not going to drive it.

You can swap the v6's and v8's around very easily, 240 to 320, 43 to 55. But a 4cyl to a 6 or 8 is not worth doing unless your building something hot.

So as of yesterday I now have these...

Not quite sure what to do with them yet, the above pic was just for fun.

And another delivery from Maktrak for the evo, should be able to build a second transfer box now.

"Carlsoons" lol! I think they are reps, but I need to clean of the markings to be sure. They were diamond cut though?

Have you got Dash'es m103 yet?
