Yes you do my wife's Kuga is in next week for Fords equivalent. Customer service from our local Ford dealer far surpasses that of the MB dealer.

I called into mb sunderland to pick up some parts and was offered coffee and biscuits. :bannana:

What I found great was when I visited an Audi dealer for a service, not having been their for months after a single visit to buy the car, and they greeted me by name.
I figured out later that the had a number plate camera in their car park somewhere..

Yes I agree my local Audi, Ford and Volvo dealer give me great customer service and over the years I've bought loads from them.
Both my local MB dealers treat me like sh*t and look down their nose at me every time I go in (parts dept excepted). They have never had any of my business in the last 35 years, wonder why ?
I know what you mean it's nice to have personal service.
And appreciate that some business is better than none!

Well here's the update!
Didn't even buy the car from them!!
Every thing fine! Nothing to report!
Even cleaned and washed the car!
And they didn't even try and sell me a service plan!
Top service well impressed.
They could have mentioned the rear disks as there ok but worn!
So I was expecting them to try and push that but they didn't.
Well happy.
And because of the service they will get the servicing of me!

Dealers are franchises, some are good some are bad. You can't generalise at brand level it's simply not going to be accurate.
I even know of a MB franchise dealer where the service differs greatly between branches that are less than twenty miles apart.

He said they're OK but worm...hard to say what that means. Mine are OK but worn too...probably another 30000 miles before they need changing.
Everyone's a critic.
No there fine there just got a slight grove in there from ware but don't need changing.
And not even bad enough to warrant changing.
But if they wanted to rip someone of they could have claimed they needed changing
