Does anyone else get annoyed!!!
After I wash and dry my 2012 c class sport plus, I open the boot to dry around the edges etc, shut the boot and ½ a ton of water splashes all over the nice clean dry bumper, open the boot again to dry it and then shut the boot again and more water splashes out from the number plate surround, no matter how carefully I dry it it still drips out and dries in a stain.

Same here, have to come back a few mins later and dry it off again.

Don't feel victimized the E class does the same

Same here - E class. And when it's been raining, and I open the boot, water drips from the boot edge drips into the boot - masterpiece of design!

e220 has a problem like that as well, only worse, read my post for details.
someone can help??

Mines the same. It must be water collecting in drain holes etc.
Life is pretty good though it didnt spoil my weekend.

I get this too and it's so frustrating.
I am getting this from my brand-new 2015 E400 Cabriolet - water cascades out from locking catch and drips down into the plastic scuff plate and sometimes directly onto the boot carpet...

My 1989 190e did it so at least they have been consistent over the years.

my E doesn't drip in the boot at all. Now my SL on the other hand was terrible. I feared opening the boot when it was wet

same if you open your windows after car been washed and dried , window goes down all nice and clean comes back up beaded with water , aarrrgghhhh :(

Had this problem with my E saloon. Cleaned out the guttering around the boot as I noticed it was clogged. This has reduced the amount of water that comes out the bootlid when I open it, but not stopped it happening. I shall be taking a look at the seals around the rear lights this weekend as they look pretty grubby and hopefully I will track down how on earth the water is getting in!!

So has anyone found any other solutions to this seemingly common problem??
