Hi All, I have a W246 which has an intermittent issue with the fuel filler cap popping open sometimes leaving it flapping around.
At first I thought someone had bumped it in car park but this weekend a couple of times its sprung open when car was unlocked, anyone seen this before ?
It seems to lock closed fine with car , there is nothing in manual about opening other than pressing it manually. I am dubious about taking it to the dealer as I can see them finding nothing wrong and me wasting a morning in the process and then it opening the next time I unlock the car
