Hi Folks; I have a fuel leak in one of the pipes that leads from the gas tank to the front of the car. I have had no luck sourcing pictures or diagrams but the temp fix does not work when fuel pump is running.
Attached is picture of leak point and another one of the lines.
Any help on where to get replacement lines would be appreciated, or even a fix for DIY.
Thanks
Mike

First thing you need to do is clean the area to narrow down the leak i.e. is it due to corrosion of a hard line or damaged/rotten flexible hose. Hard lines will be main dealer only or make them from scratch (sorry, if you have to ask how then you won't have the tools etc). Rubber fuel hose is available from any motor factors (they'll cut you whatever length you need) but you'll need to know the inside diameter and that's assuming it's not a 'shaped' hose to go around corners as rubber hose will collapse if bent too tightly. In the later case or if you can't measure the size accurately MB is the easiest option

Make sure you buy good quality braided fuel hose with correct size clips, the one in the pictures is miles too big. Cut away the corroded fuel line back to smooth pipe to get a good seal with the hose when you sleeve it and fasten up securely. My pipes were 8mm. I repaired my fuel lines and brake pipes before manning up and pulling the lot out and renewing. The corrosion was worst under the clips holding the pipes and above the subframe. I see one of your brake pipes has already been pieced.

Yes brake lines were replace from the back, as well the calipers have been replaced. I'll measure the lines and get braided fuel hose.
Thanks for all your replies
