Hello all.
I would like to find out what you would do.
I need to get a new fuel pump. The car is 25 years old and I plan to hang on to her for another 3 or 4 years ....
Just got a quote from my local dealer and the current price is £220.- incl vat. Ouch !!
ECP sells one for around £55.- but it doesn't say on the website what make. (Don't want to go for some no name product )
GSF sells two, one standard also around £55.- and a premium for around £94.-
Now I know that if I go for the MB one that she will run for another century .....
I'm inclined to go and check the premium one form GSF out because like I said I don't want to go for the cheap, no name one.
What do you think and what would you be inclined to do ??

If it's any help I should have a brand new Bosch (Original Equipment) that's suitable.

Chassis no is WDB124 0212B061545
I had a look earlier to see if i can find the part no on the one that's in but it looks like a after marked one ... Well, I had the car now for 13 years and haven't changed it which means it did a good job lasting that long. Can't complain really.

Now can i find out what the part no is?
My local mb dealer is very cagey with regards to this info

How can I find out what the part number is for the correct pump ?
My local mb dealer is a bit cagey with regard to this kind of info
If try and find parts for my car the model is never listed. All the sites only ever list 190E , 260E, 300E ....
Is the 200E such a rare/unusual model ??

Based on: WDB124 0212B061545...EPC says A002 091 97 01. Usual caveat applies.
