Hi
I am new to this forum.I have just bought a c200 cdi auto my previous car was a freelander td4. I wanted to know where is the best place to fill up with the best diesel at the supermarket or other places.
All help would be appreciated.
Thank you.:dk:

The cheapest you can find is usually the best.

Some others have a different opinion...but, with 135,500 miles mine has never faltered on any type of fuel (except the one time I put petrol in!!).

Or check out petrolprices.com to seek out the cheapest stations within a 5 mile radius. As for brand, is there really any difference between fuels, as they all have to comply with certain standards, such as EN590.

I have noticed no difference between the major distributors, such as Shell, Gulf, BP, Texaco and Esso, so picking a brand is a personal preference.

My nearest supermarket with sensibly priced fuel is Asda - never had a problem with it.

I too use Asda on a regular basis, the fuel consumption is the same as BP Esso etc as far as I can see.
