I’ve always found the best car-cover to be the garage, lol.

We live apposite `an allotment’ which has quite a number of tallish trees. To which, is home to a vast number of large birds (wood pigeons, Magpies etc) which I’m convinced, lie in wait then systematically use my car as a bird WC!! If this happens, I remove the offending article(s) as soon as possible! If left for a period of time (this stuff can be quite acidic) can cause `Marking’ on your pride and joy.

For me, to do anything to the Max, unfortunately! It has to become an obsession!.........:cool:

Up here in the toon we have seagulls!:doh: being a lad from the south i wasnt ready for the mess that these birds could make! esp to a black car - i nhave the special spray for that muck and unfortunately always walk out of theatre or clinic to see seagull carnage on my car - im hoping the hospital builds some underground or roofed parking spaces - but this i can only dream of lol

No water, mitts, buckets or snow foam.

So I have a quick question:

got my snow foam attachment today (along with the other stuff) but the snow foam gun is just the attachment? Included in my order is a hand pump plastic bottle (which i didnt order) which if I unscrew the nozzle off the snow foam attachment can screw into. -So is that what its for? just a plastic bottle for the snowfoam canister? or am i missing something more substantial...?

HotJambalaya. What you need is a pressure washer. This is the one I use:-

Nilfish C110 3-5 Xtra Pressure Washer 110 Bar, this sells for around £53. This basic system is all you will need fella. Detergent dosing bottle and foam applicator are all included! I think you may have purchased something’s you do not require. Try www.pressurewashers.co.uk Take a look on this site kidder, this is where I bought mine from, but you can get them at most DIY stores.

Should just be as simple as taking the 1 litre bottle and screwing it in to the snow foam lance head.

In a moment of relative stupidity when I received my snow foam lance order and all the other bits with it I thought I'd got a free bottle and sprayer until it dawned on me that the trigger spray was for something else I'd ordered and the bottle for the lance head... :doh:
 
I've got a karcher fitting one exactly the same, the bottle isn't the sturdiest but does the job!

Some people feel that keeping the car clean is an absolute chore, for me and obviously others on the MB owner’s site, it’s “second nature!”

Have a good ‘Detailing’ Saturday.....:thumb:

I too have been bitten by the detailing bug, one of my favourite new toys is the sidekick air blaster.
Have a look, it stops all that nasty water marks after a wash and help with interior maintenance to.

The good thing about taking pride in your car is, at Christmas your wife/girlfriend has an easy time getting you the prezzies you really want. Instead of the usual socks/gloves/pants/aftershave etc, simply give her a list of car ‘goodies,’ your chosen car detail sites’ website and on the big day you’ll be a happy detailer!......Sorted..........;)
