No problem John, the engine bay is designed to withstand water. Just don't point the hose in the same place for a while, keep moving it around. Cleaned loads of engines (including with a pressure washer) and never had an issue.
Steve, wow, are you kidding!! A 04 with just 20k, it must be like new!!! Like the light interior, goes really well with the dark paintwork. Last car (Jeep Grand Cherokee) had crème leather which I loved.
I got mine for £5750 including a 3 month warranty + 6 month tax, 10mth MoT. Was only about 4 for sale locally when I looked and were in the 70k+ mark under £6k.

hi marty, no not kidding , i was very dubious of the mileage myself however has a full mbsh one prev owner and all checks out with mercedes, it doesnt look as nice as yorus though! although i havent give it any thorough cleaning or anything just a drive in car wash job, and 5750 seems about right for 50 odd k, however it looks mint! i gave 5k for mine but the guy was an old boy with a big £2mill plus house on the wentworth estate in virginia water , so i dont think he was bothered, its going to need money spent on it though due to this dash problem its just developed, which im still none the wiser about
yes i prefer cream leather, blues go lovely with cream! last car 52 plate s320 in blue with cream leather, loved the copious amounts of room thoughbut became too juicy!! so downgraded engine wise but upgraded year wise, i like the wood though, wouldnt buy your interior type, also i dont like the black leather which most have, so as you say i also liked the blue and grey, yours is very clean though! what year is it and is a 1 prev owner?
