Where could i get a sort of map of the fuses of my 02 w203, i have no handbook. The fuse im looking for is actually the ciggy lighter fuse, i think its blown because my phone charger aint working anymore in my car.

there may be a piece of card inside the lid of your fusebox telling you what fuse does what.

alternatively, just look in the fusebox for a blown fuse and replace!

are there any hidden ones i dont know about... i know theres one in the boot, besdie the steering wheel and under the bonnet, is there one anywhere else?

I dont mind going through each one, but then i dont know if the correct amp fuse is in it.

yea, tried the charger in another car, works fine.

Is there nowhere i can find a layout of the fuses?

probably very likely a 15A fuse. Also very likley to be in the engine bay

Yes, fuse number 47, engine compartment fuse box, 15A. Should source the glove compartment light too.

I had a fuse blow. Very odd in a W211 there is nowhere that tells you there are fuses under the bonnet. The handbook and the fuse guide only mention the dashboard and the boot. The 12 volt socket in the front, the one I use for charging phones etc is a 15a fuse under the bonnet!

Thanks i got it, very tight squeeze to get a grip on it where it is under the bonnet, its right at the back of that box almost underneath the wiper mechanism, but, i got a grip of it neway and it was blown, cheers everyone.

Are fuse-box diagrams some sort of holy-grail in 'Mercedes land'?

Every thread I've checked, looking for a '97 Sprinter 208d fusebox schematic (the box under the steering column) seems to finish in a dead-end

Loads of useful suggestions, but no diagram :(

Simon
