Drain the torque converter first. The vacuum appears to drain all the oil from the cooler so all teh 7.3 litres comes out.

useful tip

It is likely that yours DOES have a t/c drain plug as Mercedes stopped fitting them from 22/9/99.

You will have a 722.6 gearbox fitted.
