MB dealer at £150
Reason I ask is there's one on ebay at the moment. Can you perform the same trick on them?
This would be helpful as not all members can find a £150 just like that when they have families and other rising cost.

If you went out and bought a new TV and you hand soldered all of the 2000 or so joints, the chances are it would never go wrong

When I was taught to solder, I had to dip the solder into a pot of flux too, not like the all in one stuff the cheaters use today.

It's towards the right hand side with the buttons facing down. You need to pull the board at the same time.

After taking the key apart I noticed it is different to the one pictured previously, was that a Das2 or Das3 key?

and after putting it back together it's nice to know it's working Ok by pointing it at a digital camera and watching the IR pulses.
