gear box oil level

i have a 1997 s320 limo petrol and i have a leak on the gear box so it looks and i have been told there is a dip stick on it but i cant find it can any one help thanks

Hi,

There isn't a dipstick, the hole is blanked off and when you want your gearbox oil level checked it can only be done by a dealer or indie who have the relevant dipstick... maybe pop to you local dealer/indie to get them to check it for you....

You can buy the dipstick if you want and check it yourself, this can be purchased from dealers

Got mine from e-bay via the usa for just over £20 double that from dealer.

Find out box type first as different stick for different boxs.
