Gearbox kickdown setting

Can anyone help me with setting the kickdown linkage on my '93 500E? The two 'arrow heads' are not in line by 3-4mm and it doesn't seem as simple to complete the adjustment as on my 300-24 as there is a second adjustable linkage.... It seems the dealership didn't set it correctly after changing the box a couple of months ago, nothing new there then!

At the risk of stating the blindingly obvious- why not take it back to the dealer and get them to do it right and kick up a fuss in the process - wrt poor quality work - if they do half a job maybe they should refund half your money!

I did think about that but the job was done during the previous owner's tenure and, in a different country....!
