Gearbox plug Orings.

Hi,
anyone has the Orings parts number or better, the Orings, for the gearbox plug on a E300TD 1999?
you can only buy the whole plug now, while I would just prefer to change the Orings.

Hi,
Any halfway decent motor factors should be able to match your "o" rings and supply you a set of new ones for you, though to be honest, I would,nt even consider just replacing the "o" rings on the pilot bush as they are only circa £20 to buy new from MB.

Dont just replace the seals. Do the whole pilot bush. They are modified to not leak anymore.

Do we need to change the Oring from the plug as well? The pilot bush come all fitted but what about the plug and what is the part number?

There is no number. It comes wiith the loom.

Not going to change the loom for an Oring tho

Should I spray the plugs at both end of the loom with brake cleaner to degrease it properly?
Or better leave it like this and just whipe off the excess?

This is it. Got a new Pilot Bush fitted. Hopefully it wil be the end of the leak and the wet plug
