- 2001 W220 Mercedes S320cdi & 2001 W208 CLK230K (SORN since 2008)
I have a w220 S320cdi and glow plug number 2 has a snapped glow plug. It seems the plug still works as the pin which runs inside the glow plug is still connected to the head. This has been like this since I got the car 4 months ago.
When checked on the star machine strangely number 2 did not show as faulty.
Can anyone recommend a good specialist in the Hampshire area who can deal with this problem and if anyone has dealt with this problem a rough ball park figure on cost, I have not seen if the other 5 are damaged.
The car still starts fine and runs.
