Going to look at a CLK55

I've got to drive up to Newcastle tomorrow to do some work over the weekend so I thought I'd call in to Keighley Trade Centre to have a look at a CLK55 that they've got in as it's (almost) on the way. To be honest I'm not expecting it to be very good as KTC has been slated in the past on the MR2 forums for the quality of the cars they get in, to be fair though they are Japanese import spec cars and this is a UK car.

Is there anything apart from rusty arches and boot lock that I should be looking out for?

PS - don't tell work I'm taking a detour

Mileage is apparently 90K with full MBSH, like I said I'm not expecting it to be a minter but it is just about in my price range so I thought I'd go and have a look and see whether I should be looking at younger 430's instead.

Wow!, remember these as a kid from the mid to late 1980's a Koenig Testaaossa style SL. I think Koenig used to do a lot of bodykits based on the Testarossa, especially on SEC's.

They also have an 1991 J reg SL60 in White, with 46,000 miles for 10,995

let us know how you get on. strangely I've seen that car at the site but never had a close look at it. Obviously my Merc head wasn't on at the time.
