Just come across this thread.
I'm with Shaun I'm afraid.....if I wanted a CLK55 (hmmm.....), I'd be sorely tempted to go in with an almost silly offer, then get a really good indie to give it a once over. If you paid peanuts for it, then you wouldn't be too upset to get a big bill to make it 100%.
Its a lot of car for the money, and 95K is nothing on a Merc...we all know that. Christ, my V6 has almost twice that on it.
And finally...IF the former owner was DCUK, there WILL be a FMBSH lurking somewhere.....Shirley a call to DCUK might yield where the car was serviced in its previous life?
