isnt that really rare for it to have birds eye maple ?

First one ive seen the interior of that i actually like , that faux carbon fibre doesnt do it for me.

I am tracking this down, the C43/55 had optional birdseye maple, if the C43 had it then it is "official". It is a special option code but it is not described properly in the EPC. I was planning on ordering the armrest cubby-hole cover in all the "unknown" trim codes to work out which code is the birdseye maple trim

Yeah, but I added that 'cos I couldn't get a Walnut one at a sensible price. Expect my wheel was originally destined for a W210 or something.

mine has neither heated nor electric seats on the plus side, it's one less thing to go wrong.

C36's are old school tho , its normal for mercs of that era to leave the factory with just doors and wheels.
