Goodwood track day in March 2014

Having spoken with Simon M, the other day, he tells me that Mika, has moved over to a Porsche from his C63, and planning to go on a 'Goodwood@ track day with a couple of his friends, Porsche and Jag XFR, Simon is unsure weather he can make it, due to being between cars, so had a mailed conversation with Mika today, and having already had a message's from both ACEJ and ALX that they are potentially interested, (sorry guys my phone is switched off till the 6th), the details of the potential day are, 15th March, 25 cars, 105DB, £320 for the day, 5 cars on circuit at any time. I have today also mailed a few people that attend the days we have had previously, and await a response, anyone else here interested in going to this venue.
To be perfectly honest, I was not really up for going myself, but if a group of the guys I know go, I will come down to play and enjoy the day

Hmm.. a potential yes here. I'd need to chuck some money at the car - my brakes won't survive another track day - but I'll have a think about it.

WOW! 9 interested within 24hrs, had not expected that, plus possibly
Gaz 1 and mika and his two mates. Would be a concern that given its a 'Goodwood' trackday and only 25 cars, (Saturday 15th March. 105DB, cost £320) and available spaces are not known to either Mika or myself, that we all get booked in, Goodwood's track day ticket booking contact no.
is 01243 75555 although you would expect it be closed during this holiday period, so may not be open till new year. Can I suggest that we all book independently with Goodwood, and advise/list here who has booked and paid, so we can see who is actually going along on the day.

I have sent out mails to 5 other guys, inc CSR and DC who came along on the Eve appeal day, so may be a couple of others as well.

Paul, as Sav is surmising, is your car going to make 105DB @ Goodwood??? when we all last heard it down there last time, be lucky if it got through 200DB!! LOL

I must say, having spoken with a couple of people today, this future track day date is not going as planned!

I have paid and booked this day for myself earlier today, I have also paid for a further 5 no. places, that are available to those that have not booked and are interested. I would appreciate, that anyone genuinely interested in going to this event, that has not booked as yet, to take one of my booked spaces, given what has been discussed with me later side of today, which has suddenly left me feeling that paying for the 5 additional places, has now left me a little vulnerable to my outlay, totally my own fault, but have done this on a greater scale previously with you forum guys with no problems, and we have done a few events now, so please advise of interest to this day as you are able.

Haha, cheers guys. Yes it's quite now. After the silencer option making almost no difference I bought another exhaust, made the 105 day at silverstone no problem, but Gary will bring another car just to be sure.

Hopefully the day will build from here, all started from a conversation with Simon M and then Mika. I believe Mika (Porsche) is coming along with 2 of his friends, (XKR and Porsche). Looking even at this early stage that there will be a good sized group of us, and an great array of cars. look forward to it.
