Granada mk 1 32v v8 cobra

Like that mk1 escort the other day, another thread somewhere. That went for 40, grand.

Recession, what recession.
Time to check any old barns and disused lock-ups.

I like that, though its a nice colour, I think I would rather of seen it in a period colour.

Very nice.

It even has hub caps ready for a visit to Kwikfit. The others are labled OSR, NSF & NSR. :p

Now that I really like, agree about the colour though

worth every penny if i had it to flutter

8 - 10k in reality in my mind.

that 'doorstop' of an engine is one of the hardest, most reliable, abuseable motors I've ever had. Far stronger than the 2.8 cologne replacement. Everyone has bad experiences though.

Very ambitious, seeing as an original Basil Green Perana is currently going for about half that.

I needs some period wheels, the modern ones look a bit silly.

Wheels look odd, but nice apart from that. I had a 3.0 Ghia in the early 80s ... was a good car.

"Shut it!"

I like it. Not a massive fan of the wheels but they are OK.

Very nice.

Except if that was the case, that one is on the wrong wheel!

400+ bhp is way to much for that early 70's floorpan / chassis. I think that the handling would be "interesting".

yup, cart sprung, better forget the Crapi option/suggestion, or straightline only
