Greetings from another newbie

Hi all,

A new MB Club member here. Got my first Benz about 9 months ago - 4dr saloon C180 kompressor 2004 plate (W203 I think)

Got this after owning a 528i...some say that's a huge step down...but to be fair 3 things have convinced me it was the right thing to do.

1) The BeeEmm was way too physically big for just the wife and I..especially as she doesn't drive.

2) I loved the typically Germanic engine but a 2.8i?!! ...talk about a drinking problem!! On the plus side I radically changed my driving style

3) I've owned a few 1.8ltrs before but never a supercharged 1.8..even at low speed I can feel the shove in my lower back!!!!

Always been a lover of German motors ...always loved an Audi A8 quattro (should I say that on a MB site?? ) but at the moment am content with my 'ickle' 4dr kompressor

Will hopefully add some pics in the future. Looking fwrd to learning from all the members and (hopefully) contributing where I can.

Thanks all. In time I will start uploading some more picks. Needs a bit of work on the body...last owner wasnt very good at parking and I think tried to do her own paint job (will become clear when I upload pics lol)

I used to have two e39s - a 535i and later a 540i....and you're complaining about the drinking habits of a straight six ;-)
