Did anyone watch the 'Cutting Edge' programme on CH4 tonite (9.00pm) entitled 'Gridlock and Road Rage'?? Classic moments in there (and drivers!)... loved the bit about the mathematician who liked going out to find the phantom queues! quite an enlightening programme.

i missed it but read a review about it in the paper prior to the broadcast, i have got to see it, !!

I couldn't watch it after seeing some clip with a 'gezzer' shouting the odd at another driver. It would've just wound me up!!

There were some prize muppets on there, made my toes curl. No really earth-shattering insights but quite entertaining. Basically we have too many cars for the roadspace. Noted.

surely that was costigestion..

Thanks for spotting the J...

I think a lot of these "charactors" who do these shows really mug themselves off for the cameras.

The Essex Man who drove miles to and then around the M25 to get to Croydon was/is the typical example of a "charactor."
He mouths off BIG TIME about the two and a half/five hour commute, abusing everyone else in the process.
Its drivers like him who make the roads worse.

Get a job nearer to home or move nearer to work!

P.S. I DONT IN ANY WAY RECCOMMEND DRIVERS ARE RESTRICTED IN USING THERE CAR IN ANY WAY THEY WANT;):D

'Ere, don't you be leadin' us astray with them wild notions what is born of the dark side! :D .

Oh, I don't know, I think it would work well:
