Grit guards for a normal size bucket?

I have two heavy duty but normal sized buckets from B & Q is there a Grit guard for normal sized buckets as the ones I see look specific for the larger buckets?

this idea but I only want the guard?

guards from what i've read are expensive to produce - just moulded plastic ? - but the megs style guard are on ebay for under £10
