Guy newbie needs help

I am trying to upgrade my wing mirrors on my 1998 CLK 230 Kompressor, an have no idea how to remove them to install the New LED indicator wing mirrors i have purchased. It seems like most info online is for the later model,

Can anyone help PLEASE, any advice would be appreciated

I know this will be no real help but I recently had a nasty rattle in the door of my clk, I thought there is no way I am going to tackle that job coz it has air bag, and all the electrics you could think of behind the small very well fitted door car.

Anyways I took it to a local garage Nd the mechanic a Polish guy I think' maybe from some other Eastern European country, any way he came out to have a look and said to me you don't want to bring it her mate, you could do that yourself, open the door take out the rubber plugs in the bottom of the door and see if they are loose, that should fix it.

Took me 5 minutes and cost me nought, although I do owe the guy a drink
