Looks more like a facelift than a new model.

It looks very weird to me, if i'm going for a BMW then the F10 any day!

And what's worse is they don't even pop up. They are fixed!!

Why make it look like something that is removable, will just get the car broken into.

I've never had problems with the Audi, BMW and Merc ones built into the top of the dash

And what's worse is they don't even pop up. They are fixed!!

Why make it look like something that is removable, will just get the car broken into.

..maybe that's why I see people with removable ones right in the middle of the screen...

It is an awfully boring car.

My old man bought one, was bored after 2 weeks so I had it off him, lasted less than a week before I realised he was right, it is dull, dull, dull.

Newer legislation eh,what i find crazy(at least on my car)is that you have the sat nav displayed on command & you can also display the sat nav directions on the assyst dash display-both of which are out of drivers eye line.

On the pictures of the new 3 it looks like somebody has just left an iPad on the dashboard.

As you say, it's just screaming out "smash a window and try and steal me"

Focusing on the road....

Focussing on the HUD....

Should become standard on all new cars imho, makes things far safer and on long journeys into the night far less tiring.

I had one, a 530D Touring and I got rid of it after 3 months I just didn't like it. The engine & 8 speed box was impressive though.
