Heated seat mystery

great until the gear stick starts pokeing you:eek:  :D

Ah, but you see, in a LWB s-class, there is plenty of unobstructed space on the back seats  :D.

To keep this on topic, I should mention that I have heated seats in the back too .

But in the 140 S class you could have adjustable rear individual seats for a mere £3452 in 1994 and to heat these in the rear cost £500.75p each

Well, the rear seats are individually adjustable in my 220, in my 140 I didn't have individual seats. The bench was electrically adjustable, but obviously as a whole. In the 220, the seats adjust individually in the rear as well. :D

And even better, the electrically and heated rear seats are standard on the LWB S500 :D :D.

On the SWB riff raff  version you had to pay 932.50 for the electrically adjustable rear seats and 340 for the heated rear seats .

Funny really (no help but a comment) my Mondeo is the special edition Titanium X before it became a proper model. Anyway, when launched it had the ST body and ST seats but with half leather/half alcantara rather than full leather. So, I thought - I wonder if it has heated seats?

I checked wiring for the switch (the switch is missing but has a cubby hole in its place) and yes the wiring & switch is fixed to the back of the cubby hole! All the fuses and relays are in place. And under the seats the wiring loom shows the heated seats wiring.

So, I go buy a switch and have heated seats? No. I don't have the heated pads fitted.

Grrrrrrrrrrrr

unlucky!!
