Heater prob (clk)

I have a problem with the heater in my 2002 w209 clk. The car has the intelligent digital heater and all works fine except for the drivers side setting for my feet. All other settings are working and hot and the passenger side is all working fine. Seems to me that some vents aren't opening but im just guessing. Is there some sort of reset i can do to fix this?

Anyone know of any button combos to reset this or am i clutching at some mercedes magic thats not there

mostin are you sure there is not any cold/hot air coming out of the drivers footwell ?,
the vent is under the the dash area next to the transmission tunnel and can sometimes get blocked if the under dash cover panel has been removed at some stage and there not put back correctly

actually ive checked again and nothing is coming out, i get a squeel on high like its blocked or not open
