I am going to retrofit the heating element for the windscreen reservoir into my one on my W208 320, but Does anyone know where I get the water feed for the element ?

Many thanks

Hi,
The hot water feed comes from the heater recirc pump that's fitted on the inner wing just below the header tank. For cars with this option they fit a different pump with an additional outlet on the pump. The other side of the pump goes into the coolant system on the rear of the engine. This is something I have been meaning to fit to my AMG, I have got a new washer bottle with the element and modified cap, but finding the right pump has been the stopper for me though I do want to fit the system for me its not worth the price of a brand new pump, unless I find one from a breaker.
Check this link out diagram and pt. no.s required.

here's an option I've considered in the past but never got round to trying (a bit pricey) so can't say how good or bad it is. Would be transferrable between cars though.
