Hi - I have recently bought a 1990 W124 200TE estate. It's green and I took it for an MOT last week. The guy could not believe it was 20 years old! Needless to say it passed with flying colours. It is a solid beast and has coped well with all of the recent snow (Xmas trip to Lake District).
I've been bitten by the MB bug and now am looking to expand the fleet - perhaps an old S-Class? We'll see.
Anyway, from a browse of the forum, it seems to have a great range of knowledge and enthusiasm so I'm looking forward to regularly checking in.

Hi & welcome Kieron, you can see from my cars that i agree with you, my C-class really is a very solid example of the marque, & i reckon it only costs me £5 a week extra than my previous Astra1.6 16v cost to run. This is not to say that MB's dont have problems,they do,but with the help available on this forum they are a good bet.
