Hi All,
Just came across the site when browsing for some 500sec info thought I had better reg and post a howdy...

I'm Parts Manager for a midlands based MB main dealer, So any part info/pricing etc.. you require just post a topic and I'll have a gander (don't pm as it'll never get done!!)

Ha! A new best friend! :bannana:

Welcome - nice bunch of people on here

Rain sensor for my W203??

Also, just to satisfy my curiosity what is the cost for a replacement windscreen on my W203?

which 203 ?? presuming your avantagarde?? whats the 1st 6 digits of the chassis number??
rain sensor MA2218708826 retail £32.40 + vat

theres too many windscreen options too price without a chassis number but my guess it would be heat insulating blue with code 345+691 on datacard (345 being rain sensor) £153.72 + vat retail

you'll be asking me about discount & postage next !!

Inside leg measurement? :) If I can answer stuff about cooking, ask away!

Bit surprised at the windscreen cost - had visions of it being WAY more!

Many thanks

Hi jay73

T.B.H mercedes screens aren't that expensive..

can't say that I've heard the term constant injection sensor before.

what year W124 (300ce) before or after september '89?? presuming its not a 24v or amg which only ran after sept 89?

the only sensor I know in relation to the fuel injection is to control the ASR system (acceleration skid control)

how or who diagnosed it as a "constant injection sensor" or even better what part number have you got & what did you try to order !

rather not say.. but I'm not that close to coventry, bit further north on the M6 :)

The car ran really rough in the morning I know the sensor is broken because I broke it..:o It is an early one 88 12V the sensor is located in the cylinder head, bulk head end on the inlet side. it has 2 pins, 2 plugs from the wirering harness go on. I was told it was A constant injection sensor by Taunton dealer. Cant drive at the mo anyway as oil pump is dead...:(

Cheers
Adrian

thats an interesting one....theres a sensor at the bulk head side which calls "position sender unit EZL" not sure if thats it but TBH I can't see anything else on the engine electrical side part number is 0021539028 £88.37 + dreaded

don't s'pose there's a part number on the old damaged unit, almost all benz parts have the 10 digit part number on even if its a bosch/hella

I don't suppose you can tell me a current price, and stock situation, for the third row seats for a vaneo?

Thanks in advance.

ouch.....

you really don't want to know !!!!!

its going to be expensive, I recently priced up a 3rd row conversion for an ML (leather) which from memory came out around £2000

I've just ran a couple of guesstimate part numbers through the system and it looks like (at least the colours I was picking.. anthracite etc..) they've never been supplied into the UK and there wasn't any pricing information in germany (before the link went down !!)

I can look into it seriously if you really want but I would hazard a guess its going to be pretty pricey..and there would be quite a wait...

How about rattleing B6 681 8704 into the puter (armrest fridge for a W202) and is it still avaible ? OOPs it might be B6 681 8706

Ouch indeed... I seem to recall a figure of £400 from somewhere... it's ambiente \ grey cloth trim.

Don't waste too much time, but if you could find an accurate price I'd appreciate it. We only "need" five seats, but 7 could be handy, depending on cost \ benefit ratio :D

BOSCH CIS-E injection coolant temperature sensor

What you describe is the coolant temperature sensor located at the nearside rear end of the cylinder head. The "constant injection" refers the BOSCH CIS-E (KE111) system on these cars which continuously injects fuel into the inlet manifold unlike the later "LH-SFI" or "HFM-SFI" Type systems which inject fuel via each cylinder injector separately. Its one of the sensors the injection system uses to modify the engine fuel supply.Sorry dont have the part no but dealer will have got you the correct part via the chassis number.

I had a wood/leather steering wheel for my R129 priced up ... the total including airbag and VAT came to £2,400!
