Hi, I have been a member of the MB club for very many years but cannot remember how to work this forum site. Am proud owner of a CL600 and wish to ask other members about their views on the larger naturally aspirated engine compared to the later turbo charged version.

Maybe you would know, my question is whether a year 2000 CL600 amg was ever produced by the factory with AMG badges on both the engine and boot? I read somewhere that no such car was ever produced but then I have seen one up for sale looking very nice and am wondering whether the badges were fixed retrospectively.

There was a 63 and a 65 but not a 600. The 600 is the non-AMG V12
