Hi from Essex.Just thought I join you lot as bought my 1st MB,actually I got carried away and bought 2 I6 E320CDI`s 2004 and 2005 as was told these are more reliable but happy to be corrected.Having had over 20 Volvos some around 300bhp I do miss the power but that might be sorted after a remap.Over all very happy with the barges,love driving them.I`m going to Europe for a few days and will upload picture next weekend.

Why not?When I had Volvos I used to have up to 5.I`m easily addicted to cars.

A big welcome from here My mapped e320 cdi was quicker than my mapped 850r over the 1/4 mile and tbf its far superior in everyway that i need a car tobe.

Hi mate.I`ll txt you a few questions about remap.Abid ment to come last sunday for some work so I was going to remap the Elegance which I`m thinking on keeping for the low miles but he couldn`t make it.I`ll get him do it when I come back tho.I had no chance to take pics mate,I have engine out from burgandy if you remember my 1st Volvo and fitting everything new,clutch,pcv,cambelt kit,leads,dizzy cap,s/plugs,leads,etc All genuine,so you can imagine how much that costing the guy and thats not the end.So been busy with that alongside with work.Hopefully next week fitting the engine and see the back of it.Thinking of an AMG front bumper for the Elegnace when I flog the poxy VW.

Just about to post my own intro but noticed the mentions of ex-Volvo owners. I had an 850 estate and loved it. I totally agree on the comfort level and felt it was a lot of car, as well as space, for little outlay second hand.

Very nice clean car mate.My mate from Glazgow has a Gull 855 with 290,000 ish miles and still the same engine we changed most of the suspention etc last year and this year he bought another Gull but saloon which I`m currently working on a new engine.There over 2K worth of parts waiting to be fitted,all genuine and DO88 lol Will be posting pics on VPCUK once finished with the progress.
