Hi, I´m Portuguese, living in Portugal , never visited the UK, but thinking on going some day, in hollidays. I own a C220d, that gave me a fev month ago, few headaches, with the famous fuel pump...LUCAS!
I´ve joined, looking for friendship, fun, and to help, sharing info on Merc´s, etc... i hope i´m accepted in this great MBClub forum, by all members.

Hey, Fine by me... it depends what you are planning on doing in Portugal, say, if you enjoy forests , mountains, "Vinho Verde", "Vinho do Porto", You have to head north...If you want to be Red as a Lobster...Hot as hell, Beautiful Beaches, warmer seewater, and be near by almost all the tourists from the UK, head south...I usually go to Algarve in summer hollidays, ´cause me and my Wife love the beach!´
The rest of the year, we travel a lot to the north...to rest bodie and mind.

Hey Jobseeker...I was there, this year, for the first time... and believe, the place that i´ve most hated, was "Curral das freiras"...dam!!! i went from the bottom to the top, walking, the i hasked the guy in the bar, from the hotel, that is on the top...at what time, the bus would come...he said "at 8 in the night..."it was still 2 in the afternoon, and i had my car down in the curral das freiras, so i just RUN downhill...better say...Downvulkano!!! Even today, i feel my legs shaking!!! But, its an Beautiful Isle, no doubt.
