Hopefully not a silly question about W210 servicing!

Gents, as you'll see i'm as new as a new thing here so forgive me if this is in the wrong place or I've missed a really obvious place where the answer is already given!
I'm currently looking at buying an E-Class 320cdi and have a question about the servicing schedules.
Obviously cars of the 2001/2 vintage have widely varying mileages and I wondered if someone could tell me what the expensive service intervals to look out for are?
It's just that forewarned is forearmed and all that.
In advance, many thanks.:thumb:

It's around every 4 years or 40-50,000 miles at a B Service. It very much depends on what has been done service wise in the past as to what is due next. Your question is not easy as it has no definitive answer.

Dammit!!!!
I knew it wouldn't be straightforward!!
Do you know an approximate cost for a B service? It's just to have things to bear in mind!

A B-service at my main dealer is about £285 (including VAT) or £200 if your supply your own oil. Additional items can mount up though and they're mileage and/or age dependent: coolant change (£75), brake fluid change (£45), etc.

Punch your details into ESS and it will tell you what's required:
