how can i use the phone controls ont my steering wheel ?

hi there, how can i sync the controls on my steering wheel with my phone ? i have a c200 kompressor, as far as im aware, it does not have bluetooth, so how can i use my phone hands free?

A C200 Kompressor can be a W202, W203 or a W204 model. I believe a 202 would not have phone control buttons at the steering wheel(?) and the 204 would have BT HF standard (excluding the few cars that were sold without factory head unit), so I guess it is a W203?

If you do not have a hands free kit in the car, you would need one plus a BT adapter. Which MY car is it?

Look at the VIN at the base of the windscreen. It will start WDB20x.............

You car identifier will be W20x

You have a facelifted W203 if its a 54 plate c class.

If you dont have option 386 or an ipod kit retrofitted then your phone controls will be disabled.

They can be enabled easily enough but this wont suddenly give you phone preparation. Additional parts will be required.

oh ok, i am based in grays in essex, i was told i need a reciever to talk to the handset, which needs to replaced each time i change my phone, which i thought was strange, and could cost upto £150 :S
