hiya to all, i have a w124 coupe 2.2 on standard suspension and want to
fit lowering springs, was wondering if any 1 could advise on what mm coil to
get? i want to be as low as possible without rubbing arches(dont mind a tiny bit on full lock) and dont want to be scraping front bumper on speed ramps. also i have 17 inch monoblocks 7.5Jx17H2, offset 112, ET 35. and wanted to know what size tyres to put on so they have the stretched look? thanks alot

I ran a w124 230ce with a 25/30 mm drop on 17's with no rubbing issues.

I'd uprate the shocks too , otherwise the existing shocks are going to be half compressed at all times with lowering springs and it will screw up the handling .

Stretched tyres are ridiculous.

alrite cheers that would be helpful. i dont mean over the top stretched, just a mall bit so when the car is lowered they sit nice with the arches. i know what you mean tho cheers

Stretched tyres are, I believe, illegal in parts of mainland Europe. I'm guessing there's a reason for that.....
