How much oil do you fill m113 s500?/messed up something

The two little moulding marks (circles) on the dipstick mean nothing at all; the oil level should be somewhere along the thin part of the red plastic, between the MAX(imum) and MIN(imum) letters on the thicker ends. Even with a cold engine, filling it to just below the MAX is not overfilling it.

Symptoms would appear to fit with an engine with a blocked crankcase breather or over filled with oil--- and since this happened after your top up an overfill is possible- the non MB dipstick may be wrongly calibrated for your engine- the garage may have useD their own dipstick tool or used the volume drained out = volume in method when changing the oil?
As advised either do a complete drain and refill with the correct volume adding the last 2 litres 500ml at a time and checking the dipstick as you go
or
drain off the same amount as you added and check dipstick level again.

My first thought was an engine breather, but how could oil be running down the plug leads below the coils, yet there's no oil on the top end above the coils?
